Commerce X is the digital home of Apex Atelier — a studio dedicated to building steering wheels and accessories that feel alive. We stitch leather by hand, machine custom spokes, and validate every rim with both sim rigs and real-world track telemetry. The result: cockpit components that deliver confidence, comfort, and control lap after lap.
Our journey
From a garage project to a global workshop — highlights from the Apex Atelier timeline.
The first wheel
We started in a single-bay garage, resurfacing a worn-out E30 steering wheel for a friend. Word spread quickly inside the local club scene.
Heritage collection
We introduced hardwood rims and bespoke metal spokes, inspired by the golden era of touring cars, and began shipping worldwide.
Performance lab
Our Dubai studio opened with CNC milling, leather tooling, and telemetry testing under one roof — every wheel now leaves with a performance log.

Every build is guided by the touch points that matter most to drivers.
Craftsmanship
Every wheel spends over 28 hours in our studio. From hand-stitched hides to carbon fiber layup, nothing leaves the bench until it feels perfect in the hand.
Performance
Track telemetry informs our ergonomics. We prototype with sim rigs, track-day drivers, and touring teams to ensure ideal grip, balance, and feedback.
Sustainability
We source FSC-certified hardwoods, recondition OEM cores, and recycle offcuts into shift knobs and trim. Premium does not mean wasteful.
